WE GRIND APPAREL LLC (“WE GRIND APPAREL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website and services to do the same.
This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy explains how copyright owners may notify us of alleged copyright infringement and how affected parties may respond.
01The DMCA
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act provides a process for copyright owners or their authorized representatives to request the removal of content they believe infringes their copyrights.
More information about the DMCA is available through the U.S. Copyright Office.
Copyright disputes can involve important legal rights and responsibilities. Nothing in this policy constitutes legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright or whether you should submit a DMCA notice or counter notice, we recommend consulting a qualified attorney.
02Provide Accurate Information
DMCA notices and counter notices contain statements made under penalty of perjury.
You should ensure that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Knowingly submitting false or misleading information may result in legal consequences, including potential civil liability.
03Investigate Before Filing
Before submitting a DMCA takedown notice, please carefully review the material at issue and determine whether the use may be authorized by the copyright owner, permitted by law, or otherwise protected under doctrines such as fair use.
We encourage copyright owners to consider contacting the individual or business responsible for the content directly before submitting a formal DMCA notice when appropriate.
A DMCA notice is a serious legal request and should only be submitted when you have a good-faith belief that infringement has occurred.
04No Automated or Bulk Notices
Each DMCA notice should be reviewed by a person who understands the specific facts and circumstances surrounding the alleged infringement.
We discourage the submission of automated, bulk, or bot-generated notices that have not been individually reviewed. Notices that do not satisfy the legal requirements of the DMCA may not be processed.
05DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe copyrighted material that you own or are authorized to represent is being used through WE GRIND APPAREL LLC's website or services without authorization, you may submit a written DMCA notice to us.
Your notice should include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it, such as a specific URL, webpage, file, image, or other description.
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information contained in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
